IMA’s main focus in the AFarCloud project has been the development of components for monitoring the environment and health of farm animals. In the last year, IMA’s task was to validate the functionality of the hw and sw components it developed during the project. These were mainly communication gateways, action members and cloud applications and services. Their validation took place in the Czech demonstrator, which was also attended by other Czech partners, ZČU, MFF UK, LesProjekt and VÚŽV. The monitoring of livestock vital signs and environmental quality monitoring took place in the VÚŽV cowshed in Uhříněves on the farm in Netluky.
The final technical review of the AFarCloud project (3rd audit – technical) took place on 18-19 November 2021 in Pisa, Italy, in the San Rossore Park.
The AFarCloud consortium received the result of the final project review from the European Commission, which was very positive. The EC concluded that “the project is complete and no further actions are needed to improve implementation”.
Subsequently, a national final evaluation took place on 5 April 2022 at the Uhříněvs University of Science and Technology under the leadership of the Ministry of Education. The Board of Reviewers rated the IMA’s results with a grade V, which means that the IMA has achieved outstanding results of international importance.
