IMA Participated in a Conference on the Future of the Aerospace and Defence Industry

As a member of the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (AOBP), IMA was part of the “Expected Development of the Aerospace and Defence Industry in the Czech Republic and Worldwide” conference, held in Brno on 27 May 2026.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to meet representatives of companies, institutions, and organisations operating in the fields of defence, security, and aerospace. We consider discussions on current industry topics an important part of the development of the Czech defence sector, as well as a platform for sharing expertise, building partnerships, and exploring new opportunities.
Our membership in AOBP enables us to be part of a professional network connecting Czech companies, institutions, and partners across the defence and security industry. We believe that collaboration, knowledge sharing, and open discussion about future market needs are essential for developing safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions.

We would like to thank the organisers for the opportunity to take part in this event and look forward to future meetings with partners from across the industry.

News in IMA

IMA was proud to be a Golden Sponsor of the ECCA Conference 2026, held in Prague from 25–27 May 2026 and hosted by the European Campus Card Association together with Czech Technical University.

For IMA, the event was a valuable opportunity to meet partners, universities and industry professionals, and to discuss how access control, digital identity and secure storage solutions can support the changing needs of modern educational institutions.

Here are some of the most crucial insights shared by our CTO, Michal Kašpárek.

IMA was represented at the General Assembly of the Electrical and Electronic Association of the Czech Republic (EIA), which brings together companies from the electrical engineering and electronics industries.

As part of the WITTE Automotive Group, IMA continues to grow across borders and bring its expertise closer to customers in key European markets.

With dedicated local support for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, IMA is now even better positioned to help customers in the DACH region with smart identity, access control solutions and smart locker solutions.

Following a decision by WITTE Automotive GmbH, the sole owner of IMA s.r.o., Karel Kalivoda has stepped down from his position as CEO of IMA by mutual agreement.
