With LBAsense location system, you will easily understand the behavior of people in the area you are monitoring. The system allows you to adapt to common visitor behavior patterns and improve the operation of the monitored area.

You know exactly where people go

Do you want to know where people go, where the busiest places are and adjust the operation of the monitored location (e.g. a department store, an urban conservation area) so that everything runs as efficiently as possible? LBAsense allows you to track the movement of people and then regulate it. We will place smart sensors in the monitored area to collect anonymous data. This will allow you to know and understand how things are going in the monitored area.

You get an understanding of what people are interested in

Are you a festival organizer and need to find out where people spend most of their time? Our sensors will show you what people are most interested in. LBAsense will allow you to better adapt to their needs, and also solve the logistical problems associated with the influx of visitors in one crowded area.

VEvaluation of the results of advertising campaigns

Are you running an advertising campaign, and would you like to know if you are not simply wasting your money? Install our sensors in the area you want to monitor and simply measure the before and after. This will allow you to understand if you have actually attracted more people to the venue and how the campaign has influenced their behavior.

Completely anonymous data collection in accordance with GDPR

LBAsense collects data completely anonymously via a Wi-Fi signal from the visitor’s phone. You therefore do not have to worry about violating the GDPR. Written consent is required to de-anonymize data, which makes sense, for example, in hospitals in the context of tracking people exposed to infectious patients.

Proven system, cheaper than competing products

Our system is already in use by various clients from the Czech Republic and all over the world. The LBAsense project of our partner DRFC could be found, for example, in the famous Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona, where it collected data on attendance, nationality, and movement of people. What is more, our solution is significantly cheaper than competing products.

Highly accurate data, absence of flaws

LBAsense is generally characterized by extremely high output accuracy, reliability, and absence of flaws. Our sensors were developed in cooperation with ČVUT and can be found even in large companies.

How can LBAsense work in practice?

Suppose you need to analyze the movement and behavior of people in a particular location, either during a crowded event or in normal traffic. As our first step, we need to determine the most suitable locations to collect data. We then install sensors there or deploy temporary workers with sensors in their backpacks. The system will then collect the data, which you will receive in the form of clear outputs and graphs.

How is the installation of LBAsense and the subsequent data evaluation achieved?

We find out what you need, what you expect, and together we define the purpose of tracking people in the area or the problem you are trying to solve.

We select the most appropriate technology (usually Wi-Fi) and determine the locations where our sensors will collect data.

We agree on the day or time period in which you need to collect data.

We deploy our sensors in the area or arrange to deploy temporary workers with sensors in their backpacks.

The system collects data during the monitoring period.

At the end of the monitoring period, we will send you the data output via clear and easy to understand formats (PDF, report, web interface, API) and help you analyze it.

An Internet connection via a local area network (LAN) or mobile data.

In principle, both models are possible. For marketing purposes, our system can be provided as a time-limited service, for example to map people traffic and their behavior. On the other hand, for security purposes, our systems can be installed to be fundamentally stable – typically in cities, where early warning can prevent crises in the accumulation of people during public transport outages, etc.

The location of the sensors depends on the project plan and is adapted to the possibilities of the location. As a rule, they are placed to cover the area up to a height above the corridors of people flow.

Data specification and analysis is part of our project brief – so yes, we are happy to help.

Basically, it records the movement and behavior of devices that are visible on optional wireless channels – e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. The data is evaluated directly on the device and further anonymized.

Maintaining GDPR rules is a fundamental limitation of our work. The main purpose of our LBAsense system is to collect the results of data analysis on individual devices, without analyzing personal data – only the behavioral model is evaluated using anonymized data. Personal data is therefore neither collected nor processed. The output is only a global statistical model of behavior. Furthermore, data on specific devices are not recorded in any way and therefore cannot be obtained.
