In 2019, the SACON project, aiming to develop an autonomous smart lock that harvests energy from the environment, kicked off. IMA closely cooperates with energy harvesting experts from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
The proposed autonomous smart locks will allow people to be identified by RFID cards and mobile devices using NFC and BLE technologies, without the need for external power or frequent battery replacement. Wireless locks will become part of Evalan’s bGrid network, developing solutions for managing smart buildings based on location and IoT.
