Prague 12th December, 2018: IMA s.r.o successfully defended the results achieved in the THINGS2DO project in the projects’ external examination, and received the “Excellent results of international significance” award.
IMA s.r.o. presented the results of the Extension BLE app, a low-power recording device that serves as a radio-frequency bridge extending the range of Bluetooth devices. An example of a real-life use case was a system for remote on-line monitoring of the athletes’ heart rhythm with visualization of the measured values.
During 13th and 14th June 2018, IMA s.r.o. actively participated in the successful final defence of the THINGS2DO project (THIN but Great Silicon 2 Design Objects) which took place in Grenoble. Results of the R&D of the ecosystem, which takes full advantage of the 28nm and 14nm FD-SOI CMOS platform developed under the previous pilot project ENIAC KET PLACES2BE, were presented. THINGS2DO serves also as a pilot project bringing innovations for successful product launches to deliver key marketing benefits for European industries to maintain their competitiveness and employment in Europe and the EU. Defence of the project of was attended by leading representatives of ECSEL JU, a key player in the field of the European microelectronic industry.
