The General Assembly Seminar took place between 3rd and 5th June as a part of the AfarCloud project, aiming to coordinate and review the preparations for the first annual Review of the AFarCloud Project (to be held on a farm in Finland at the end of September or the beginning of October 2019).
A functional holistic demonstrator, integrating all local demonstrators and components developed by a consortium of 59 European project partners, will be held on the farm during the first year of the project. The holistic demonstrator integrates features of landless land vehicles (UGVs), unmanned aerial vehicles, drones (UAVs); and sensors for both plant and animal farming. During the first year, IMA contributes to the Czech demonstrator by monitoring the environment (using e.g. LoRa sensors, LoRaWAN, Azure cloud, …) at a farm in Netluky, which is part of the Animal Production Research Institute in Uhříněves. All Czech partners (VÚŽV, ZČU, CUNI, Lesprojekt) and several foreign partners participate in the Czech demonstrator.
