About project

The aim of the ArchitectECA2030 project is to create a framework for the valid development of electronic components. This aims to achieve an acceptable residual risk and move forward the new international standards required for the approval of autonomous vehicles. The new methodological approach involves anchoring safety functions in the design of electrical components and defining acceptable levels of risk for electronic systems.

IMA will contribute with the analysis of related standards for ECS embedded and controlled software. The work will result in recommendation on the test and validation tools.
Elaboration of fail-operational strategies in terms of standardization, the elaboration will be realized on a level of main components but mainly on system level of a complete automated vehicle operation.
