Wireless temperature sensor powered by waste heat was successfully tested on the premises of the Czech University of Life Sciences’ brewery.
The wireless temperature sensor was developed by IMA as a part of the EnSO (Energy for Smart Objects) project. The aim of the project is the development of technologies enabling intelligent extraction of energy from the environment (solar radiation, heat, vibration, etc.).
The newly used technology allows the tested temperature sensor to operate continuously without the need for maintenance in the form of a battery replacement.
We’d like to express thanks to the CULS for the opportunity to test the sensor in real-life conditions.
