About project

The aim of the project is to develop a secure IOT platform (hereafter AI4P) that can adapt to specific implementation scenarios in the field of Industry 4.0 and Smart Cities with a special focus on tourism, security and health.
The processing of data from the AI4P platform using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms will enable the digitisation of production processes and advanced services in social networks. One of the outcomes will be visitor navigation to public spaces during a pandemic (COVID-19).
In the first phase of the project, IMA will develop a mobile phone app that will be able to interact with surrounding Edge sensors including the DFRC sensor, AirQ sensor and other sensors to digitise the manufacturing environment.
In the final phase of the project, IMA will provide a demonstration of the AI4P platform in the WITTE Automotive Nejdek production hall. Three new IoT devices will be installed in the industrial environment:

  • ScanPoint IoT terminal for employee identification and digitized production process control connected to production lines,
  • IoT sensor for production line analysis and
  • IoT radar detection (sensor) for detecting missing material on the production line.
