Public buildings are specific: in addition to employees, whose entries are easy to manage, there is a significant movement of people who come to the building repeatedly (service suppliers) or on a one-off basis (visitors). Entry rules vary for each of these groups. Rules may also change depending on the time of day. During regular working hours, other rules apply than those that govern night time, or weekends and holidays. The system can work with several buildings at the same time, i.e., using a single identifier—if authorised—you can move around multiple buildings owned by a particular organization. Should any problem occur (e.g., fire alarm), information on how many people still are in the building and who they are, is available to you.
For suppliers, you can request that every person be identified, and prevent your supplier employees to share a single access card to your building. Our system can also transfer registration of such persons to the supplier. The only thing you do is to approve their entry in your building or selected areas.
In addition, we have designed an efficient access for visitors and their record-keeping
You can use an attendance system tied to the personnel and wage systems, of course.
If the public building comprises a town hall or a hospital, you can have payment machines installed in the entrance hall where visitors may pay all the necessary fees for the services provided. Thanks to a standard interface used, these machines may be connected to an internal information system so that an office worker or another employee knows a particular fee has been paid. To improve visitor comfort, you can have refreshment vending machines installed there, as well.
