Defence of the European AI4CSM project in Brno

On 23 May 2025, the national final review of the AI4CSM project took place in Brno, chaired by a representative of the national provider (Ministry of Education and Science). The review of the Czech partner BUT took place in parallel.

The AI4CSM (Automotive Intelligence for Connected Shared Mobility) project focused on the development of advanced electronic components, systems and architecture for next generation mass-produced ECAS vehicles. The acronym ECAS stands for the key characteristics of these vehicles – Electric, Connected, Autonomous and Shared. The project aims to accelerate the digital transformation in the automotive industry to support modern mobility trends and contribute to the transition to a sustainable green and digital economy. ECAS vehicles, which integrate intelligent functions and modular systems, play a crucial role in implementing the principles of the European Green Deal.

The Board of Reviewers unanimously recognised the results and contributions of both Czech partners and rated their work as V- outstanding results of international importance.
The project was co-financed by PPP from the European Commission, the Ministry of Education and Science and the participants’ own co-financing.

News in IMA

Dear business friends,

thank you for your cooperation this year.

We wish you a lot of health, happiness

and work success to the new year.

We’re looking forward to meet you in 2026

On 27–28 November 2025, our colleague from the Telematics team and a PhD student at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, CTU in Prague, Martin Fiala, participated in the international meeting of the A-IQ Ready project held in Porto, Portugal.

IMA s.r.o. is an active partner in this EU-funded project, which aims to advance knowledge in the field of quantum technologies and their application in security-related solutions.
As part of the project partners’ presentations, we introduced our compact FMCW radar embedded system, which, thanks to its modular design, can be easily installed on vehicles that are not equipped with their own safety systems.

This solution contributes to reducing collision risks in logistics centres, minimising property damage, and enhancing the safety of personnel.

At the end of September, the MOSAIC project was launched in Gdańsk with the participation of all members of the European consortium, of which IMA is a part.

Technology for safer schools

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, we will participate in the ElectroJobs 2025 conference, which connects schools, companies, and technology. The event will take place in the representative premises of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Prague.
