DAIS project successfully defended

On 30 June, the final review procedure of the European project Distributed Artificial Intelligent Systems (DAIS) took place at IMA s.r.o. in Prague on behalf of all three Czech partners – Institute of Microelectronic Applications s.r.o. (IMA), Technical University of Liberec (TUL) and Brno University of Technology (VUT).

The review procedure was chaired by a representative of the national provider from the Ministry of Education and Science. The project mainly aimed at innovations in the field of edge computing with maximization of data processing directly on end devices, reduction of data transfer volume and optimization of AI for edge devices using IoT networks. The project also emphasized cybersecurity and privacy protection in line with GDPR.
The Board of Reviewers unanimously appreciated the results, contributions and cooperation of the Czech partners and rated their work as V- excellent results of international importance.

The project was co-financed by PPP from the European Commission, the Ministry of Education and Science and the participants’ own co-financing.
