As every year, IMA is a partner of the Graphic of the Year competition in the category of student work – small format.
At the opening of the exhibition in Bethlehem Chapel, the winner was presented with the prize by Mrs. Ing. Gabriela Kalivodová, IMA’s economic director.
The winning work “Špekáček” by the student of the Faculty of Art and Design at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, Nikola Ilyučoková, was appreciated by the jury mainly for its composition and refreshing humour, but also for its interesting technical approach, contemporary and historicizing connotations.
The largest exhibition of contemporary art Graphics of 2022 and the Vladimír Boudník Prize can be visited at the Czech Gallery of Modern Art on Betlémské náměstí in Prague from 6 April – 5 May 2023.
