Project: Built-in clearing system for cashless payment on vending machines and self-service points.

IMA received a grant from the IMPULS program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic for R&D project No.: FI-IM5/216 - “Built-in clearing system for cashless payment on vending machines and self service points”.

The project goal is to develop universal payment system capable to process different payment instruments. The system will integrate different HW devices for payment acceptance. The system will be protected against misuse and it will be equipped with interfaces for connection to banking institutions. The system will process payment transactions and keep the client’s accounts.

The project is focused on design and development of the Cashless Payment System, dedicated for payment by RFID tokens, NFC devices and other devices. The system is opened to different devices for payment execution. The vending machine module and POS terminal module will be developed as an example of such a device.

The duration of the project is 3 years (2008 – 2010)
